Mother's Day

We had a wonderful mother's day! The only gift I wanted was to have a "photo shoot" with my little girls. We took a few Easter dress pictures at the house and then we all went down to a park in Sheboygan Falls. The girls (and daddy) were very cooperative and were good little models for me!

Easter Egg Hunt

Morgan & Harper had a great time hunting for Easter eggs. Morgan was very considerate, letting Harper have a share of the action. The crazy Easter bunny found some silly places for eggs---good thing the girls have a very tall daddy!

To those who are waiting for the Easter dress pictures...they are coming :-) Although our plans to go to Sunday brunch and dress up the girls most likely now canceled due to Jamie leaving for Alabama on Friday morning to help get power to the people who were impacted by the tornados. We're going to have another mommy/girls weekend, but we'll keep busy and have fun!

Morgan liked Harper's Hawkeye windsuit so much she decided to wear it. 3/4 Length sleeves, capris & tummy showing... only Morgan could pull that off!

Sunday Morning - All Dressed Up!

I bought Morgan's 2011 Christmas dresses last week and got some awesome deals on gorgeous dresses! Well, Morgan is currently obsessed with dresses so ~ being clever Darci ~ I thought I'd hide them in Harper's closet so she wouldn't try to wear them early. You guessed it, this morning Morgan marches out wearing one of the new dresses. "Mommy look at the pretty dress I found in Harper's closet that fits me!" It's a size 6 - she's in size 4 now - but it did look beautiful even though a little big. Instead of breaking her heart and making her change, I dressed Harper up too and we had a Sunday morning photo shoot! I am including a few of the "chaos" pictures so you can see what we go through to get a few good pictures around here. I'm at a rough stage where Morgan will not cooperate because she's 3 and she willfully chooses to be difficult and Harper has absolutely no interest in having her picture taken - so we settle for a smile here and there! Enjoy!
