Little Boater!

Morgan went boating for the first time on Memorial Day with Grandpa & Grandma Lenehan. We weren't planning on being out on the water on Monday, but it was such a nice day we decided to go for a quick ride. I coated Morgan about six times with SPF 500 and made sure her life jacket was nice and tight. Morgan enjoyed riding around and had fun when we stopped at a beach for a while to play in the sand.

Brandon ran at state track so Morgan and I ventured down to Des Moines along with the Lenehan clan to cheer him on. We made tshirts with various motivational sentiments:

Brandon did really well. He's pretty much the fastest kid you'll ever meet. We like to think of him as the Chuck Norris of track & field.

Morgan's New Toy

We bought Morgan a new toy for her to rock and eventually scoot around on. With a hat and some boots I think we might have a little cowgirl!

Morgan Is Crawling!!!

Saturday Morgan finally put the movements together and started crawling. I don't think she realizes what she is capable of, but I'm sure that will change soon. Kinnick and I sat and watched in disbelief as she worked her way across the room. Kinnick looked a little nervous, I think he knows what he's got coming...soon enough Morgan will figure out how to play "chase the puppy"!

Morgan Pulls Herself Up Now!

We were playing today and Morgan pulled herself up on the fireplace. She is becoming very mobile and should be crawling soon. It looks like it's time to baby-proof the house! It will be a good project for this weekend since Jamie is in South Carolina. He says he's staying to train new associates on Monday, but I think he's staying so he can go to the Nascar race that's only 2 hours from where he's working. I'm pretty sure he only packed polo shirts - there's a pretty good chance he's not going to blend in with that crowd and might even get beat up. Poor poor daddy.

Big News - First Tooth

Morgan finally got a tooth! She's been a little irritated, but she's been taking it like a champ for the most part. If this keeps up she'll have a mouthful in no time ~ ready to eat sweet corn by summer! ;-)
