Out Sick With Polka Dots!

Yesterday I took Morgan to the doctor to find out what was causing mysterious "pink polka dots" to appear all over my little baby. We found out Morgan has Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, a very contagious virus that makes children break out with sores that last for a few days. Well, Morgan could not go to daycare because of her contagious state so I stayed home from work with her. She's a little moody but we've been keeping her on tylenol to help ease any discomfort. This afternoon we decided it would be good to get out of the house to take her mind off her being a little under the weather which enjoying the beautiful weather outside. We walked around Sheboygan Falls down to the River Park and Settler's Park and we took a few pictures along the way. If you look close you can see a few of Morgan's "polka dots" in the pictures.

Sunday Fun Day!

Morgan wore her sassy denim dress for Sunday Fun Day (it was a gift from her friend Lily!) Auntie EJ and Corey visited & helped put up new sheet rock in the basement where it was damaged from "Lake Lenehan". EJ visited Lydia the weekend before and told Morgan she was her favorite little niece and Lydia is her favorite big neice. There is about a 10 pound difference between the girls...we can't wait to get them together again!!!

Messy Girl

Meal time has become a challenge. Somebody now thinks it's funny to grab the spoon when I'm trying to feed her. Morgan also likes to feed herself, so she's always putting her fingers in her mouth, making a huge mess! I'm not sure what the point of the bib is - I think we're going to start feeding Morgan in her diaper then go straight to the bath tub!

Father's Day

It was a very busy Father's Day, but we had lots of fun between running errands, doing yard work and cleaning up "Lake Lenehan" in the basement. We even found some time for Jamie to open up Father's Day gifts. Morgan & I got pictures taken for Jamie to display on his new desk (starts new position within Kohler tomorrow!) and we made a really cool photo book with tons of pictures of Morgan & Jamie. Then we bought Jamie a new shirt for the first day of the new job, oh and some new grilling tools! Lots of good stuff for a good daddy.

Yucky Beef and Gravy!

We thought it would be fun to introduce the "dinner" baby foods. We tried turkey & gravy last night and it didn't go over so well. Tonight we tried beef & gravy. Morgan ate a little more of the beef, but we witnessed some very interesting facial expressions!

Walking With Her Push Cart

Morgan figured out how her walk/push cart works this weekend and she's unstoppable - until she runs into something. She hasn't quite figured out how to steer and runs into pretty much everything, but she has fun doing it!

Enjoying the Sun

Sunday we took part in a "Yard Off" lawn competition. We spent the day outside visiting friends and taking in some rays. Not many people can "rock" the amish-style bonnet like little Morgan.

Sun Dress

I put Morgan in a dress on Sunday, however, it restricted her ability to crawl. She became a very frustrated little girl, so we had a mid-morning wardrobe change. At least I got a few cute pictures first.
