Morgan Plays Softball/Golf

Jamie tried teaching Morgan how to play softball, however, she couldn't quite lift up the bat, so it turned into a golf lesson.

First Big Boom

Today Morgan took a spill at daycare, she scraped up her nose, her cheek and her eye. The girls at daycare said she didn't cry that much, we've got a tough little cookie.

We had another first...first time tackling sweet corn. Morgan didn't really understand what she was supposed to do. This is what happens when babies are born in Wisconsin instead of Iowa. Iowa babies are born ready to eat sweet corn!!!

First Rogator Ride

Last fall Morgan had her first combine ride, this spring her first tractor/planter ride, so why would you expect anything less from Grandpa than a first Rogator ride?

Visit to Iowa

We were back in Iowa for a family wedding this weekend and Morgan was reunited with her cousin Lydia. Other than a few disagreements over sippy cup ownership, the girl got along very well.

Morgan's 1st Birthday

We had a little fiesta-themed birthday party for Morgan on Sunday evening. We had a great time! Morgan recieved a ton of gifts, she is a very loved (and spoiled!) little girl. She had her first cupcake and wasn't that big of a fan. She licked the frosting off her fingers but she didn't like the cake. She squished it through her fingers and threw the cake at the crowd watching her. After a quick bath Morgan gave out a round of good-night kisses and fell asleep - it was a great day!

Morgan's First Birthday

Morgan opened up a few gifts from us the morning of her birthday, including a bday girl sash and tiara.
