Chicago

Last weekend we ventured down to Chicago. We ate lunch at Ed Debeviks...gotta love that place, they encouraged Morgan's launching of crayons across the restaurant. On Sunday we met up with Uncle Addy! He was back from LA, in Chicago for a wedding. We had lunch together and hung out for a little while. Morgan and Uncle Addy got in some good bonding time!

Building The New Grill

Morgan helped put together the new grill. She brought along all of her new tools she got for christmas, including her safety equipment...would you believe her daddy is a safety guy?

Happy St. Patty's Day

We're Irish so we're using that as an excuse to start celebrating a little early!!! We hope everyone has a very happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Bowling!

We took Morgan bowling last night - it was great until she tried running down the lane and fell flat on her back. In the end Morgan ended up beating me - next time I'm using bumpers too!!!

Shopping for a Big Girl Bed!

We went to USA Baby today to look at Big Girl beds for Morgan. We're not quite ready to get rid of the crib yet, but we decided to start shopping early. We got lots of really cool ideas!!!

Visiting Baby Stella

Morgan celebrated her 1/2 birthday on Saturday, 18 months old already!!!! What better way to celebrate than with a visit to Hotel Mulder in Greenleaf, WI! Gourmet cooking by Chef Jes and fancy sh'mancy spa-quality hair service for mommy! We might be booking stays more often! We couldn't believe how big baby Stella is, she is growing so so so fast.

Nebulizer Treatments

Morgan had a bad cough last week so the doctor had Morgan doing Nebulizer treatments at home to help with her chest congestion. Fortunately on Friday when we went for a follow-up appointment Morgan's Pediatrician said she was doing great and no more "medicine".

Charlie's Bday Party!

Morgan's pal Charlie Swift celebrated his first birthday and WOW - did we celebrate!!!

Of course you can't have a birthday party without a pinata...Charlie's party was tractor-themed so the kids all took turns swinging at a tractor pinata with a putter (wouldn't expect anything less from the Swifts). Lucky for Morgan she was dressed in an outfit with lots of pockets, Charlie's grandma helped Morgan get LOTS of candy.
