Morgan is Getting a Little Sister

We just had our ultrasound and we learned we're having a girl! Morgan is getting a little sister!!! Everything looked good on the ultrasound and our Oct 16th due date was right on. During the ultrasound our little girl put on quite a show for us, check out the video (link on the right tool bar) where she does lots of legs kicks while sucking her thumb, already multi-tasking!

Visiting Lily

Morgan and I visited the Nicks this afternoon. Morgan and Lily had a great time playing and Lily was a very good little girl and shared all of her toys with Morgan. Sharing is something Morgan may need to practice a little bit more, but she's getting better. You've gotta love the picture of the girls in the Dora chairs eating Dora fruit snacks. We also got to see Baby Layla who is getting to be a very big girl and gave us lots of big smiles. It was a great Mother's Day!

Flowers For Daddy!

When Morgan and I got home today we took Kinnick outside to play for a little while. We found lots of pretty yellow flowers in our back yard. For those of you who don't know Jamie, he is very particular about the lawn. He's been in Alabama for a week now setting up for a golf tournament and we thought it would be nice to show daddy some pictures of all the pretty flowers! Miss you honey!

Brat Fry!

For those of you who are not from Wisconsin, I'll start with a little background info. In Iowa we "grill out" in Wisconsin people "fry out". Example... "You guys should stop over, we are frying out." It took us a long time to get used to the new terminology but now every once in a while I even hear Jamie use the Wisconsin "fry out" lingo.

Brat Fry: Throughout Wisconsin, the "brat fry" is a popular fund-raising technique; brats are grilled outdoors and sold for the benefit of a charity organization.

On Sunday we went to the Kohler Fire Department Brat Fry. We have a bunch of friends who are Kohler Fire Department volunteers so there is always a fun group at the KFD Brat Fry.

OH, and Morgan is definitely a little Wisconsin girl, she loves her bratwurst!
