It's Beach Time

Morgan and Mommy headed down to the beach today. One of the perks of living by Lake Michigan...lots of sand and water for playing.

Big Weekend!

We started off our weekend with an early morning trip to Elk Hart Lake to watch Sam and Justin run in a triathlon. Justin and Sam did great and we had a lot of funny watching all the commotion! We ended up seeing lots of people we knew taking part that we had no idea were participating. We came home and worked outside for a while, then we went to a brat fry in Sheboygan with Justin and Sam. While down by the lake, we decided it would be a good idea to take Morgan to her first Harley Davidson biker ralley.

"Harley Fest" was interesting...we didn't exactly fit it. Jamie in his plaid shorts and polo shirt and Justin in his white shorts and polo shirt - well, let's just say they were a little preppy looking. Fortunately it was a very friendly Harley crowd and they didn't mind us crashing their party. Funniest quote of the day...ok it starts with a story. I was pushing Morgan in her stroller and I came to a curb where we were going to cross between 2 bikes. I don't know what I was thinking, but I going to lift the front tire and then bounce the 2 back tires of her stroller down. Well Jamie said to me, Darci just let the front tire drop, Morgan's buckled in and she won't fall out. There was a very biker-looking gentleman standing next to his bike, Jamie turned to him and said "this is what I have to put up with". The biker said back to Jamie in his 2-pack-a-day voice "that's why I ride alone" I guess it caught Jamie a little off-guard and the only thing he could think to say back was "me too". We all laughed SO HARD! It was a lot of fun, oh and they had a funnel cake vendor - what more can one really ask for?

Jumping on Trampoline

Ok, so maybe it wasn't really jumping...gentle bouncing more so than jumping. Let's just be impressed that I relaxed enough to actually let Morgan play on the neighbor's trampoline at all knowing that each year 250,000 injuries are treated in ER's due to trampoline-related injuries. Scary!!! Cute pictures though!

What is wrong with this picture?

This is a picture of Morgan today on June 7th. Morgan should be wearing a sundress, but instead jeans, long sleeves and a vest! That's what we get for living in Wisconsin I guess...

Zoo Trip

On Sunday we took a family trip to the Green Bay New Zoo! Morgan loved all the animals, especially feeding the giraffe.
