Jumper

Harper started playing in the jumper and she LOVES it! It makes her look so big, I can't believe she's already 5.5 months old! It feels like we just found out we were having a baby yesterday! Enjoy the little video of her bouncing!

Morgan Changing Harper

Tonight Jamie & I were both in the kitchen while the girls were in the living room. It was really quiet for a minute or two so I peeked in to see what was going on. I found Morgan changing Harper's diaper...apparently "Harper peed in her pants!"

Background info: If there was such a thing as a diaper-changing competition, I'd put Morgan up against most of our without-children male friends. She has lots of experience changing diapers on all of her dolls - she loves stealing (new) diapers from Harper's room and taking them on and off her babies. It's always interesting to see how many diapers I find when organizing Morgan's room.

As talented as my 2.5 yr old may be, we don't encourage her attempting to change Harper, although I've caught her trying a few times. Harper is a very good-natured little baby and usually cooperates until I intervene. I couldn't resist taking a little video of the process, so everyone else can see our two little girlies in action!

Spring Time

On Sunday afternoon we ventured outside to enjoy the spring weather! We even bundled up Harper and took her with us for a little fresh air. Morgan was very happy for the opportunity to play on her swing set she'd been only able to look at out the window for the past few months. I remember being nervous about her falling off the platform last summer...now there is no stopping her even if I wanted to. Morgan was like a little monkey climbing around all over the place with no fear at all. I quickly found out that I wasn't allowed to push Morgan on the swing, "only daddy" because he wasn't scared to push her ridiculously high. I winced and let them have their fun. Hopefully it won't be long before we can be outside playing without winter hats and coats...we ready for spring!

2.5 Birthday Party for Morgan

Since your second birthday and your third birthday are a whole year a part, we decided it would be a good idea to celebrate Morgan's 2.5 birthday on Sunday with a little cowboy-themed party. Morgan even had 2 of her friends over, Lizzy and Mary who she had a blast playing with. We even had a rattle-snake egg hunt...although the eggs had candy inside instead of rattlesnakes, not sure how well baby rattlesnakes would have gone over. We had so much fun and now only 6 more months until the next birthday party!
